It is currently an option for LWG certified suppliers to opt out of being listed on the LWG website, and less than 1% are not listed publicly on the LWG website.
To ensure all LWG certifications can be publicly validated via the LWG website and to better enable future collaborations, it will become a requirement of LWG certification that all suppliers are listed on the LWG website from the 1st of September 2023.
Those that are not currently listed on the LWG website will continue to not be listed for the remainder of their current certification, and it will continue to be an option for certified suppliers to choose not to be listed on the LWG website if they are audited prior to the 1st of September 2023.
Upon being reaudited on or after the 1st of September 2023, it will be a requirement of LWG certification to be listed.
LWG encourages all certified suppliers to demonstrate their certification and enable it to be verified by brands and other potential customers by being listed publicly on the LWG website.
