Director of Research & Impact
The Director of Research and Impact is a key leadership role at the Leather Working Group (LWG), responsible for driving research, measuring impact, and guiding sustainability strategy. Working closely with the Executive Director and senior team, this role leads efforts to demonstrate LWG’s progress on environmental and social goals across the leather supply chain.
The Director designs evaluation frameworks, supports data-driven reporting, and builds partnerships with NGOs, industry groups, and stakeholders. They also provide thought leadership, track policy developments, and represent LWG in forums and collaborations. This role is central to advancing LWG’s mission and deepening its impact as a nonprofit leader in sustainable leather.
