Cast your vote: LWG Executive Committee election open now

Voting has opened for the next leather manufacturer representative of the LWG Executive Committee — cast your vote now!

After serving on the LWG Executive Committee (EC), UK-based leather manufacturer Pittards has come to the end of their first term. As such, their seat on the EC is now up for election. After several weeks of nominations, the ballot for this election includes the following candidates:

  • Gruppo Mastrotto — Represented by Renata Sartori, Chief Executive Officer

  • ISA Industrial — Represented by Carl Flach, Senior Director for Operational Strategies

  • JBS Couros — Cezar Augusto Gernhardt, Global Commercial Director

  • Pittards — Represented by Jon Loxston, Chief Technical Officer

  • Sadesa — Represented by Daniel Gordon, Chief Operating Officer

What is the LWG Executive Committee?

The LWG Executive Committee (EC) is Leather Working Group’s governing body. The committee is elected to represent their sector and provide insight and feedback into the strategy of the group. Being elected to join the EC allows a company to help shape LWG's direction during their four-year term.

Who can vote?

Companies may only vote for representatives within their sector — meaning that only currently certified leather manufacturers can vote for the leather manufacturer representative of the LWG Executive Committee.

LWG operates a “one company, one vote” rule, which means even those organizations with multiple sites may only cast one vote. Only the ‘Voting Contact’ registered with LWG of each company is invited to cast their vote.

Please keep in mind that if you believe you should have received a voting invitation email but have not, please get in touch with us directly

The election will close after 4 weeks, on 28 March 2022.
